These guys stole my money and wasted my time!

I ordered a family pack pista house haleem and paid 1400 rs for it. Swiggy delivered a single serving haleem that costs 300 rs. Contacted customer care, wrote emails, followed up etc., The response I got was to give 1 star rating to the restaurant. I ordered haleem on swiggy app, paid money to swiggy to deliver my product and these guys ask me to give 1 star to the restaurant and did not give me refund. They are very very dishonest. Customer service is pathetic!

No support system for instamart

Need to address for a missing item but no support available for instamart. Don’t operate if there is no sufficient system to run additional work. Not using this again

Worst company ever

There is absolutely no truth. You place an order, it will tell you 27 mins delivery but they will stop the timer and food gets delivered in 50 mins later and voila! We delivered on time. Who are you cheating? When chatting with support, it’s like you got your food so that’s it we can do. Why am I paying delivery fee with hiked up prices. This is fraud.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This App

This app is a complete scam when it comes to customer experience. They take your money upfront, but after that, they don’t care. Instructions for food preparation are ignored—ordered without onion & garlic, but got potatoes, onion, and garlic instead. When I raised the issue, they refused to refund, even though I never asked for one at first. Their app is deliberately designed to make it hard to contact support. They’re just surviving on a massive customer base, not on quality service. Messing with people’s dietary and religious choices is unacceptable. They say they’ll do better next time—there is no next time for me! Hence deleting the account and uninstalling the app

I had a worst experience with my recent order one order took close to 2 hrs to deliver, reason being no delivery agents where available and the app doesn’t even provide options to cancel the order. So if you are planning to have food you’ll have to order and wait for 2 hrs to have cold food.

Annoying notifications

Great app and very useful at all times. However there is no way to disable marketing notifications without disabling all notifications. Until this is fixed I’m leaving this 2 star review

Don’t trust these guys

I paid 39rs for gold membership and used it once. They started spamming me with notifications offers etc. So I deleted the app to avoid the spam. Now I again installed the app to order something and they advertise the membership again even though I have already paid it. For free delivery etc. There is a fine line between notifications and trying to grab your attention constantly. Their marketing executives are desensitized to the customers needs, I feel.

Beware refund policies

Many times the delivery person has not delivered all our order and when we complain (which is a waste of our time) Swiggy won’t refund the full amount saying that we have to pay the tax and delivery fee …. For items we never received!

Needs Bug Improvements

I like the convenience of the app—but it’s hard to reach anyone when there’s an issue with the order or when the restaurant has run out of something and tries to offer changes. Any time I try to go to the “help chat” on Swiggy I can never talk to anyone and only ever get an “error” message, meaning I pay for items I never receive from orders because I wasn’t able to change the order or reach anyone for help. I’m overpaying for items I don’t receive or that the restaurant doesn’t have. They need to fix this help center and offer people solutions for wrong orders or ways to get in contact with the restaurant if they are out of something and need to change the order. Also, waiting 45 minutes for food for the restaurant to cancel last minute is also frustrating.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this delivery. My order showed as "delivered," but I never received it. What's worse is that there is no transaction history or any details available to track the delivery or resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and reliability is concerning, and I can't trust their delivery service anymore. I hope they can improve their tracking system and customer support to prevent situations like this from happening again.

Stole my money

I live in the US and was visiting Bangalore in late December. I heard about Swiggy from friends and decided to try it out. I opened an account using my US number (they allowed me to). Then I ordered the food and requested it to be delivered to my Hotel. After an 80 minute wait (bless Bangalore traffic) the delivery person came close to my hotel . I tried to call him but the call did not go thru. Apparently the delivery guy also tried to call me and could not reach me. After waiting for sometime he called the support Helpdesk and they cancelled my order and charged me the full price of the order as cancellation fee. I was later able to get the direct number of the delivery person and called him on WhatsApp. He told me that as per policy he has to return the food to the restaurant and even though I was in direct contact with the driver he said he could not do anything as per Swiggy Policy. For the next 30 minutes I talked to Swiggy customer Support and a Manager and they kept on repeating the same policy again and again. So after waiting for my food for 2.5 hrs I had to make alternate arrangements. NOT HAPPY. I am used to customer service from standard US providers like Uber Eats and DoorDash and Swiggy has such a pathetic customer experience. I will never use it again.

Good but Need few improvements

This app helps everyone in every way but please consider the pricing details for each food items which seems to be very costly. Make it affordable for everyone which will be very helpful

What is wrong with this app. It got ordered by itself while I was waiting on payment selection page and there is no option for cancelling the order. To cancel the order I had to call the helpline number and they say they can’t cancel without giving me fine on my next order (is this a joke?) and the fine is equal to the order amount, there is no use cancelling the order. The helpline guy says I’ve placed the order which I never did. I said that’s fine for me as I have uninstalled the app after that and I won’t be placing a next order. I had to write this review as my sister also faced the same issue and heard my friends faced the same issue too. Most of them uninstalled the apps too.

Decent

Visiting Kerala for a month -Swiggy has been good. Pros: decent selection of restaurants to choose from. Cons: do your research when picking a place to order. I cross reference with google and other online reviewers. There are a good amount of places that have horrible ratings on other sites but Swiggy and zomato have them with high ratings. Also please make it available that you can place orders for later delivery times.

Completely screwed up an order and delivered non vegetarian food in a strictly vegetarian household and then straight-up refused to refund the money.

Swiggy has made life so much easier especially for us folk visiting India.The delivery is always timely and the app is so easy to navigate.

If wrong delivery and worst professionalism had an app, it would be Swiggy app. Delivered wrong order after wrong order and still charging delivery fees. Waited half an hour additional to estimated time every time to know they have made mistake again. Added to horrible customer help experience and you have to reached trademark of Swiggy service. May you have to suffer the same quality of service that you provide to others.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

This company ROBBED me of my hard earned money. I ordered food and the payment went through but my order didn’t so they said they’d refund the amount to my PhonePe account. But I never got my money!! After months of reliable use, Swiggy decided to completely SCAM ME. This company has lost a valuable customer. DO NOT USE SWIGGY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!

They don’t deliver what you order. They charge you anyway. Their people are completely unhelpful, including executive support. Avoid unless you want to lose your money. Total scam.
